Match report - AOK Cup 7s semi-final

On Saturday, March 26, 2022, the 7-man AOK Cup semi-final with the pairing FC Treptow 7er I against FC Treptow 7er II was played at the Willi-Sänger sports facility.

After the usual team photos, a minute's silence was observed to commemorate the war in Ukraine.

At the start of the game, the 7er II took the initiative and forced a foul penalty in the 2nd minute. Spk. Reza Haidari deliberately put the ball far wide of the goal. A fair gesture that was decisive for the entire game. In the first half of the game, both teams neutralized each other, so that there was no goal threat on either side.

10 minutes after the second half restarted, Treptow I managed to make it 1-0 thanks to a fine individual effort from Maxime. Treptow II's efforts were rewarded with the 1-1 goal by Saburi. In the eventful second half, Treptow I took the lead 2-1 thanks to Jimmy, which Treptow II soon equalized with a 2-2 draw.

As players and spectators were already getting ready for a penalty shootout, Treptow I managed to score the winning goal 3-2 after a successful combination by Jimmy, thus making it into the cup final. Treptow I's victory against the slightly favored II was also achieved through a tactical masterpiece.

Now we are looking forward to the final on Whit Monday, June 6th, 2022 against Stern Marienfelde.
